100 Percent Club

Raise Awareness – End Trafficking

Attorney General Ashley Moody is asking all Florida businesses to join her in the fight to end human trafficking by raising awareness through workforce training. Human trafficking knows no bounds. This modern-day form of slavery claims victims of all ages, sex, ethnicities, and demographics. By raising awareness and providing training, lives are saved.

What is 100 Percent Club?

The 100 Percent Club is a partnership between companies and the Florida Office of the Attorney General that recognizes businesses for taking proactive steps to train employees on the signs of human trafficking and for providing quick reference resources to effectively report human trafficking. When companies equip their employees with the proper tools and training, employees become the eyes and ears in their communities. By participating in the 100 Percent Club, companies commit to training their employees, commit to providing employees with a quick reference resource to easily report human trafficking, and commit to participating in the public awareness campaign.

Truck Driver? Become a Highway Hero

While human trafficking takes place in many forms and places, our roadways and related infrastructure serve as a prime breeding ground for trafficking to invade our society. Florida’s nearly half a million Commercial Driver License (CDL) holders play a pivotal role in our fight against this horrendous crime, serving as the eyes and ears of our highways.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has teamed up with Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody to enlist Florida’s CDL holders in our fight to end human trafficking in Florida by becoming a Highway Hero.

As part of the Highway Heroes initiative, more than 500,000 letters were sent to CDL holders across Florida with information on how to become certified in spotting and reporting trafficking. To view the letter, please click here.

As a CDL holder, you are in a unique position to make a difference and close loopholes to traffickers who seek to exploit our transportation system for their personal gain.
